{"product_id":"camp-verde-market-sweet","title":"Camp Verde Market Sweet","description":"\u003cp\u003eA sweet pepper with an interesting story.  This pepper was part of a seed gift from a fellow horticulturist\/seed saver from Southern Arizona.  He sourced this seed from a gentleman in Camp Verde who had grown this variety all through his life as he moved across the United States. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe put this seed into a local seed library in 2021 but people were struggling to grow it.  So, we pulled it back out and worked with the germination rates over a 4 year period to stabilize the germination rates.  This is very much a landrace variety so fruit sizes and shapes are variable.  The flavor is sweet with a bit of tang.
