Teas and tisanes

The word "tea" has a few definitions, but the most accepted by the tea community is a drink that contains the cured and/or dried leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. The Camellia plant is grown all over the world in climates that include high rainfall (around 60 inches per year). Some plants are grown in the United States, but most tea comes from China, India or Kenya (as of 2023).

A tisane is considered a drink that is brewed from any other plant and includes many popular "teas" such as chamomile, mint and herbal blends.

We source our Camellia sinensis teas and any tisane plants not grown on-site from farmer direct or companies that support equitable wage practices for farm employees. We also strive to support organic growers as much as possible.

Small Batch Blending

All our teas are blended in small batches to ensure freshness and taste qualities.
