Black Beauty Zucchini

The gold standard for zucchini, developed in the mid 1950's by Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station's John Scarchuk.  It was a 1957 All American Selections Winner.  We recommend to harvest and eat (or process and freeze) the squash before it gets too long or round.  Once they get much bigger than 8-9", they get seedy and are then designated for the zucchini bread pile.

Normally we want to bring unknown vegetable varieties into modern times, but you really cant beat the taste and ease to grow of the Black Beauty Zucchini, so it is a farm staple.  4 grams (~35 seeds)
