Blondköpfchen Tomato

(Solanum lycopersicum).  Translation is "little blond girl" in German.  This is a East German heirloom and our original seed source was Seed Savers Exchange.  They describe it as "obtained...from Gatersleben Seed Bank. Small golden yellow 1" fruits borne in giant clusters, excellent sweet taste. Enormous yields and rarely a cracked fruit. Bears until frost".  

This variety is farm favorite two years running for the ease to grow, the fruit taste and the yields.  This plant needs to be trellised - we neglected to do this in 2025 and were constantly digging through massive piles of tomato plants to get to the fruits.  It was moderately drought tolerant and produced up until frost.  0.15 grams
