Cincinnati Market Radish

It is not a carrot, we promise.  It is a radish with a long carrot like tap root that is technically a icicle type.  The slight spicy kick will give it away every time.  At the farm this variety was ready in around 35 days, some plants were earlier and some later.  This is a fresh eating radish.  Cincinnati Market was thought to have been bred in Ohio in the 1870's. Seed Savers Exchange notes it was found in the 1907 Landreth and Sons Seed Catalog.  One Community Global notes this variety was bred by the Glass Gardeners of Cincinnati.  1 gram.
