1870's introduction by either J.M. Thorburn & Co of New York (1870) or James J. H. Gregory of Marblehead, Massachusetts (1875). This variety has french origins. The french name is Radis Demi-long Rose a Bout Blanc or Les Radis Petit Déjeuner. While they are called a breakfast radish, they are not actually eaten at breakfast in France.
We love these radishes in salads, packed in lunches with hummus or as a snack.
1.5 grams (~90 seeds)
