Golden Zucchini

Just like a regular green zucchini - but yellow.  This is a W. Atlee Burpee and Dr. Oved Shifress (Rutgers University) creation from 1973.  As mentioned by other seed companies, this variety was the first commercialized B (bicolor gene) dominant variety.  The mechanics behind the B gene are complex and the other name is "precocious yellow pigment" gene to identify the yellow coloring.  

The golden zucchini can do anything a standard green zucchini can do, and comes with an additional bonus of being slightly sweeter than the standard green.
