We love to pair this herb with our farm grown tomatoes for an italian boost, put it on fish, and in a zesty vinegarette. It prefers to grow close to the ground so our drying winds don't bother it too much. It is on the needier side for irrigation, especially on hot days. We will surround it by larger plants so it has some shade occasionally.
This is a perennial plant that is a slow grower. The seeds are very very tiny. Patience is needed both starting it from seed and waiting for it to get big enough for your first harvest of leaves. The wait is worth it though. Minimum 40 seeds.
