Pronounced "stu-peach" or "stu-peach-ka" depending on who you ask, this is hands down a farm forever variety. This tomato comes from Prague in the Czech Republic (formerly Czechoslovakia) and was developed in the 1940's/1950's. It is a potato leaf, indeterminate variety that has hung in there during our high elevation hot summers. Its moderately drought tolerant but a bit needy with the water when it gets windy.
The red fruits range from 1 to 3 ounces and are round or globe shaped. They should resist cracking and splitting if not overwatered. They are good in containers and in the ground. The taste is sweet with a bit of tangy kick.
